U.S. Forest Service to hold noxious weed training in Naches

NACHES, Wash. -- The U.S. Forest Service is looking for volunteers to help locate and eliminate noxious weeds from forests around Washington. You can join the effort by attending a training session on invasive species later this month in Naches.

The session will be held Saturday, June 28, from 9:30 a.m. to noon at the Naches Ranger Station on U.S. 12. Those who attend are asked to enter through the back door of the building.

Volunteers who take part in the training will be expected to participate in two noxious weed surveys later this year.
