Two men shot in Selah; gang activity may be the cause
---YAKIMA SHERIFF'S NEWS RELEASE--- On December 01, 2012 at approximately 1913 hours the Yakima County Sheriff’s Office responded to reports of shots fired and a gunshot victim in the 900 block of Cabin Lane north of Selah. While deputies were en-route there were reports from two separate locations advising of gunshot victims and a vehicle chase with shots being fired.
Deputies from the Sheriff’s Office, assisted by Selah and Union Gap Police Departments arrived in the area and found one gunshot victim, a 14 year old Hispanic male at a residence in the 900 block of Cabin Lane. A second gunshot victim, a 28 year old Hispanic male from the 500 block of Hull Rd. was contacted on North Wenas Rd. near Hexon Rd.. He was being transported by private vehicle to the hospital. There was a third report of a possible stabbing victim in the 500 block of Hull Rd. which was determined to be unfounded.
It was reported that the residents in the 900 block of Cabin Lane had just returned home. As they were parking they saw a vehicle described as a light colored van had followed them into their driveway without headlights. The residents at Cabin Lane confronted the three subjects in the van and a verbal exchange took place. The subjects in the van then opened fire with a handgun, at which point two of the residents from Cabin Lane drew their weapons and returned fire. The 14 year old gunshot victim was near the house and was struck once in the shoulder.
The twenty-eight year old victim was uncooperative and claimed to have no knowledge of whom shot him or what had taken place.
The van in question was located at a residence in the 500 block of Hull Rd.
Injuries to both subjects were not considered life threatening. The fourteen year old suffered a gunshot to the shoulder and the twenty-eight year old sustained a wound to the upper torso. Both were treated at separate local hospitals.
The reason for the confrontation is not known at this time and may possibly be gang related. The investigation is ongoing at this time and no arrests have been made.

Gang activity is not the CAUSE of the shooting, the cause is ignorant dillweeds using weapons on each other.
Kevin Ryak..Is it so obvious or is it emanating from that litlle tiny hospital on Spyers road. You know, the one that's been a Nazi experimental laboratory for 60 years? You know, the one that took in all the Thaludamide babies of which there are none left? Study the whole far right mentality and you will see these violent episodes erupting constantly. That's to keep you confused . My uncle and aunt, Orin and Delores Berg worked with these crazy Nazis starting in the early 60's and that building behind their house is stuffed with the trophies they grabbed after they had driven single seniors nuts and working with the idiot Sheriff got them hauled off. Now, Sal King, try to control yourself after reading this and obey the rules of the forum. I know this kind of info is upsetting to those that thought they had put a pretty good lid on it. After the last election, I don't think many are buying it.  I am concerned, deeply, about the Sheriff's mental health, though, and do sincerely hope that he doesn't get carted off in a straight jacket and have an illegal competency hearing depriving him of all his assets like has been done to so many. My uncle, after he had ruined our lives liked to drive by a house in Selah and say "That's one of the richest men in the US". Who the heck is this guy, he's obviously giving orders out there, why is he so secretive?

But, evidently you found it , at least, interesting. Some would wonder why assets belonging to a person who was hauled off would be in someones storage shed. And why that storage shed was so large. Wake up. "Behavioral Research" controls most of this "gang activity". And will probably take and keep a good deal of the money for gang activity. If a cop tries to bust this, he will end up like Sean Moore, dead in the Yakima jail and the Sheriff won't lift a finger t o help him.

Its pretty evident that this incident IS gang related.... I hope the "gangmember" is proud of their lifestyle... because it got someone else shot who may or may not have wanted the gangbanger to be in the gang lifestyle.Personally I hope it was completely gang involved..I would not want to see an innocent relative shot for someones stupidity because I am sure no apoligies would be forthcoming or sincere....
