BENTON COUNTY, Wash. -- The lone survivor of a deadly crash earlier this year in Grandview is now charged with vehicular homicide.

Jovannie Razo appeared in Benton County Court on Thursday. A judge set his trial for January 21st.

Razo was in the hospital for more than a month following the crash.

Kevin Lopez-Gonzalez was killed at the scene, according to the Benton County coroner. Carlos Ochoa died at Kadlec Medical Center in Richland several hours later.

The crash happened in January on Evans Road, about three miles north of Grandview.

Deputies said their car was speeding when it ran off the road, flipped several times and wound up in a tree.

All three teens went to Grandview High School.

The day after the crash, friends and family mourned the loss at the site of the crash. | PHOTOS >>>
