Trapped horse rescued from well near Shelton
NEAR SHELTON, Wash. -- Rescue crews have freed a horse that got stuck in a large well late Monday morning.
The 13-year-old pet draft horse, named "Mr. T.", was noticed missing by family members earlier Monday. After a brief search it was located inside the well; the cover had given way to the weight of the horse.
Luckily the horse's head as above water and was able to wait a few hours as the fire department pumped the water out, then worked to pull the horse free.
No word if the horse suffered any injures, but video from Air 4 showed the horse walking around afterward.
