Suspicious fire destroys sheds behind Yakima house
A fire destroyed two sheds behind a house in the 1000 block of Pleasant Avenue in Yakima Tuesday. Firefighters are calling the fire suspicious.

YAKIMA, Wash. -- Two sheds behind a Yakima house were destroyed Tuesday in what firefighters are calling a suspicious fire.

The fire started just after noon in the 1000 block of Pleasant Avenue. When firefighters arrived, they found two sheds burning. The fire spread to another shed shortly after.

Firefighters were able to get the fire under control within 10 minutes of arriving.

Tuesday's incident is the latest in a string of fires in the area that have been ruled suspicious.

The property owners were not home at the time of the fire, and no one was injured.

Firefighters estimate the total damage at around $65,000.
