Success through Yakima's DUI program
YAKIMA, Wash. -- The first person to graduate from Yakima's DUI court is celebrating his success.

Joshua Reeves was also the first person to enter the program, a year and a half ago.

He was a repeat DUI offender.

Joshua's treatment was monitored and he says he's turned his life around.

"I learned how to live a new life, DUI court gave me a second chance. It was a life saver," said Joshua Reeves.

Participants must remain sober throughout the program.

They report once a week to a judge to check in and make sure they are on track.

There are about 20 other participants working towards their graduation at this time.
