Standoff at Yakima school leads to arrest
YAKIMA, Wash. -- The 18 year old gunman is at a local hospital after being bitten by a police dog. Police have yet to release his identity, but say he will likely face 2nd degree assault charges.

An 18 year old is in custody Monday night after leading police on a chase that ended at a local middle school.
Police received a call from a victim stating that one of two men had pointed an assault rifle at them before driving off. The main suspect was then spotted on foot entering Lewis and Clark Middle School.
Action News spoke to a couple of boys who say they couldn't believe their eyes.
"We're like we saw this dude jump the fence, and I was like 'What if that was the dude that's running from the cops?'" said witness Andy Ortiz.
The suspect was arrested shortly after the canine unit was brought in. It's unclear what charges he may face.
