Shovels in the ground for Yakima River cleanup
YAKIMA, Wash. -- Saturday nearly a dozen volunteers helped plant 120 indigenous trees along the Yakima River at the Yakima Area Arboretum.

It's part of Yakima River's cleanup program.

The city is working with several local groups to help restore river banks.

Over $2 million have been raised for this on-going project.
