Selah won't sell Palm Park

SELAH, Wash. -- Plans to sell one of the city-owned parks is now off the table. Palm Park will stay as it is.

Mayor John Gawlik who said the people spoke and the city responded.

Several people came forward upset that Palm Park was on a list of surplus property to be sold as a way for Selah to make up the city's budget shortfall.

A public hearing to sell the other properties on the list is scheduled for March 26th.
