SELAH, Wash. -- Selah is making many new changes, to clean up the roads. The Transportation Improvement Board is finalizing plans. They should include fixes to well-traveled roads like First Street.

Improvements may include new lighting, and more sewers.
Business owners are excited. They think smoother roads will increase business.

"It might make people think that if they, if the traffic isn't so heavy or so fast going by, they have a better chance of coming in,” said business owner Sherry Dawson.

This is a long-term plan that could take more than five-years. The board is working on ways to pay for it.
