SUNNYSIDE, Wash. -- Plans to remove a dangerous intersection in Sunnyside might hit a roadblock. That's because the area of Rohman Street and Scoon Road could be part of historic property.

State Sen. Jim Honeyford's wife told Sunnyside leaders that Rohman Street is part of the historic Yellowstone Trail.

Public Works says the road will still be closed, but employees will check to see if any of it needs to be protected.

Crews won't start doing any work until the matter goes to City Council.
