ZILLAH, Wash. -- Plenty of people turned out to taste the best combination imaginable. The annual Red Wine and Chocolate event was held over the weekend. Hundreds of wine lovers flocked to the Yakima Valley all weekend long. Wineries said this event was a great way to bring in tourists and help the local economy. And some wineries that had special sales were flooded with people.
"Wine makers and the pourers are so friendly, they're all showing their favorite wines and it's a great benefit,” said Leslie Womack. “I'm trying some new wines that I haven't tried before.”
Business owners said the weather has helped out with good business this year.
