Police identify man stabbed to death in Moxee
MOXEE POLICE NEWS RELEASE -- The Moxee Police Department is identifying the victim from the homicide that occurred late Saturday night. The victim is 24 year old Emmanuel Estrada-Rabadan. Estrada-Rabadan was pronounced deceased at Yakima Memorial hospital shortly after midnight Sunday morning. He died from stab wounds. See attached photograph.


On March 3, 2012 at approximately 11:30 PM The Moxee Police Department and officer’s from the Yakima County Sheriff’s Office and Yakima Police Department were sent to initial reports of a fight in the 200 block of W. Moxee Ave. Additional information reported gun shots fired and a stabbing victim was near the scene.

Officers located a 24-year-old male stabbing victim at the scene. The victim was taken to a local hospital where he died from his injuries.

Officers were able to identify a 20 year old male from the Wapato area as the suspect. His name is Christian Salvador Cervantes. Several officers attempted to locate the suspect but as of this time he is still on the run and considered armed and dangerous.

Although some of the people involved have gang ties the motive remains under investigation.
