ELLENSBURG, Wash. -- The Ellensburg Police Department says there were no apparent injuries after a Wednesday morning crash that damaged a department car.

According to EPD, Corporal Brian Jones was driving through the intersection of 6th Avenue and Pacific Street shortly after 9 a.m. when another vehicle crashed into the rear passenger side of his patrol car.

Washington State Patrol is investigating the incident.
