Murderer pleads guilty to fraud charges

YAKIMA, Wash. -- A convicted murderer appeared in court to plead guilty to fraud charges against him.

Frank Brugnone confessed to filing false insurance claims, forgery and theft by deception.

The 60-year-old was sentenced to a year. He's already doing more than 20 years for his conviction earlier this year for the murder of Carolyn Clift in 1997.
