Bullets fired at Yakima home, woman shot

YAKIMA, Wash. -- Yakima police responded to a drive-by shooting early Sunday morning. A 23-year-old woman was hit in the torso and arm after several shots were fired at her house.

It's not clear if the shots were fired from the street or from a car.

According to a news release, the victim doesn't appear to be related to a gang. However, a person who previously lived in the home on the 400 block of S. 7th St. was a gang member.

The victim's injuries don't appear to be life threatening.
