YAKIMA, Wash. -- More than 400 people and their dogs raced for a cause today.
It was the 10th annual See Spot Run 5-K today. The race started and finished at the Greenway entrance near the Humane Society.
Organizers say it was the largest turn out so far. People we talked to say it's a unique way to enjoy the weather and support the local humane society.
"I'm a dog lover," says Danny Tetzalff. "I had a dog for a long time. I don't have one now, but it's a great event that is raising money for a good cause. And, it's a fun race. You don't have many races where people get to run with dogs."
Racers without a dog were able to run with an adoptable Humane Society pet. All the money goes to the local shelter.
