YAKIMA, Wash. -- The Yakima School District reports more than 150 kids have been suspended for bringing substances to school. That's from August to November this year.

Substances include drugs, alcohol, and tobacco. More than 300 kids were suspended for bringing these items last school year. Eighth and ninth graders have the highest number of suspensions for bringing drugs to school so far this year.
