More money to keep Yakima's trolley running

More money to keep Yakima's trolley running
YAKIMA, Wash. -- At city council on Tuesday night were a few last minute changes to the general fund.

A representative from Yakima's historic district came to ask for more money for expansion and maintenance to the city's trolley. He said it's an important part of downtown that the public is in support of.

The council decided to move $100,000 from the reserves to the general fund, to be used for the trolley. They also hope to acquire additional state funding.
