ELLENSBURG, Wash. -- More victims are suing the construction companies accused of starting the Taylor Bridge Fire.
Action News learned there's now close to 60 people suing Conway Construction and Rainier Steel. That's up from about a dozen when the suit was first filed last month.
They claim the companies were negligent.
The fire burned 23,000 acres and destroyed dozens of homes.
A spokesperson for DNR said the fire's exact cause or origin hasn't been determined.
It's sad that the company is getting sued for the actions of some lazy union worker. I doubt that person will ever be held responsible.
