YAKIMA, Wash.-- Yakima's Marine Corps Reserve Training Center is looking for help after a very successful toy drive. The organization collected thousands of donations to be distributed to kids in the community for Christmas.

Now, there aren't enough volunteers to donate all the toys in time. Program organizers tell KIMA the struggle just shows how much the community rallied together for the kids in need this season.

"With 12 guys here, it's around the clock if we didn't have any volunteers," 1st Sgt. Chris Carlisle said. "So, we just want to make sure the kids get their toys and we have the manpower to facilitate that."

To help, call Sgt. Chris Carlisle at (509)575-6936 Ext. 25 or stop by the USMC Reserve Training Center between 8am and 4pm this week (12/09-12/13).
