Man injured in Yakima hit & run in serious condition
YAKIMA, Wash. -- A man suffered life-threatening injuries after being hit by a car late Wednesday night, according to Yakima police.

Police found the unconscious man in the street. Police identified him as 53-year-old James Henderson. He's in serious condition at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.

The hit-and-run accident happened around 11:00 p.m. near Maple and 3rd street.

A witness old KIMA it appears Henderson was dragged by a car.

"He got tossed in the air a bit and somehow got taken about 40 or 50 feet down that way where those circles are," said Witness Edgar Baeza.

Police said the car appeared to be silver and took off northbound.
