Major interstate getting some work
YAKIMA, Wash.-- Department of Transportation crews are gearing up for summer work on I-82. The stretch of highway from the Twin Bridges just south of Selah all the way to Valley Mall Boulevard will be repaved. Ramps on Yakima Avenue and the connecting bridge will also be repaved.

Work starts in two days, but you might see some preparation before then. All work will take place at night and it should be done by September. It's been 15 years since that stretch of road was touched for work.
