SUNNYSIDE, Wash. -- The Lower Valley American Cancer Society Relay for Life has changed venues for 2014 and will be held this weekend at Sierra Vista Middle School in Sunnyside.

The relay will run from noon Saturday to noon Sunday, but this year it will happen in Sunnyside instead of its previous home in Grandview.

Last year's relay saw limited participation and a limited timeframe because of scheduling conflicts at the Grandview site.

Relay for Life holds events across the country to raise money and awareness for cancer research.
