YAKIMA COUNTY, Wash.-- A local private investigator will serve time for witness tampering. Stephanie Barnes pleaded guilty to witness tampering in exchange for intimidation and bribe charges being dropped.

The plea deal gives her five months behind bars and she will be credited for time served. Barnes admitted to communicating inappropriately with witnesses regarding testifying between May and August of 2013.
