Local man collecting donations for mudslide survivors
YAKIMA COUNTY, Wash. -- A local man is collecting donations this week for the survivors of the mudslide. You can help him with his delivery to Darrington on Thursday.

Employees at Tree Top in Selah kicked off the donations. They put together a pallet of applesauce and fruit juice.

Randy Andrews says he's taking things to help the people and animals impacted by the disaster.

"Any kind of non-perishable canned goods: fruits, vegetables, this sort of thing, that's all good," Andrews said. "Dried animal foods: dog food, cat food, and of course hay, anything for horses this way."

You can bring donations to the Apple Cart Deli at 220 Naches Ave. in Naches or to the Memorial Bible Church at 111 Old Stage Way in Gleed. You can also call (509) 594-5822 or (509) 697-5193 to schedule a pickup of your items.
