Leonard murder trial begins, jury selected
YAKIMA, Wash. -- A jury is in place to hear the murder trial of Matthew Leonard.
Leonard's accused of stabbing Jason Linder to death after a fight outside of Arty's Bar last year.
Linder's friends and family showed their support at the courthouse today.
His wife says they plan to be there for the entire trial.
"He's got a lot of supporters, Jason was very loved here in Yakima.
He's got many, many friends and many family," said Rayna Linder.
Leonard's charged with second degree murder.
