YAKIMA, Wash. -- A Yakima hospital is facing a lawsuit for not providing charity care.
The suit accuses Yakima Regional Medical Center of pushing its care responsibilities, including services for low-income patients, onto other medical facilities.
Lawyers for the plaintiff claim Regional served 385 charity care patients in 2011 compared to more than 28,000 for Memorial. | Click here to read the class action lawsuit »
