Kittitas County cutting positions
Kittitas County is dropping three existing positions because of budget constraints.
The county's human resources department will lose a job. So will the county assessor's office. And, the staff of four administrative workers will drop to three. County Commissioners say they have to do more with less.
Despite these cutbacks, the majority of county employees received a slight raise. Most employees will get about 2 percent more than they did in 2011.
