Judge deciding if convicted child rapist gets new trial
YAKIMA, Wash. -- A judge hasn't decided if a former Yakima paralegal will get a new trial. Travis Padgett was convicted on 13 counts of child rape.

He remains in custody while waiting to be sentenced. That's on hold while he tries to get another trial.

A Yakima County Superior Court judge heard arguments on that matter today. The judge will decide within two weeks.
