Indiana fugitive arrested in Wenatchee

WENATCHEE, Wash. (AP) — A man accused of fraud in Indiana has been arrested in Wenatchee.

The Wenatchee World reports 52-year-old Fredrick Nicholson was arrested Thursday after he was suspected of giving a false name for a background check needed to live in a home operating as an adult care home.

Investigators found he was wanted on an arrest warrant from Indiana accusing him of $600,000 worth of fraud.

Det. Edgar Reinfeld said Nicholson was operating locally as a financial adviser under the name Dr. Max.

KPQ reported Nicholson had been listed on the "America's Most Wanted" website.

He was held for extradition.
