YAKIMA, Wash. -- Come this fall, you'll once again be just a few hours away from checking out an NBA game in person. The Kings said goodbye to Sacramento and hello to Seattle. It's not surprising that bars were packed on game days right, but we're talking football and that comes to end in two weeks with the Super Bowl. Throw a so-called hometown NBA team into the mix and business was looking really good.
"When they're playing, we'll definitely have a lot more people rooting for that team and so we'll definitely get more people in for that," said owner of Sportscenter, Travis Heitman.
Other retailers were also looking forward to the NBA's return to the Emerald City. They can start selling team merchandise.
