Hit & run driver causes damage in downtown Yakima
YAKIMA, Wash. -- A hit and run driver caused damage to city-owned planter boxes, railings and a tree on Yakima Avenue and 9th Street.
Police said they tracked down the culprit.
The accident happened over the weekend and was unrelated to a police chase Friday.
Damage was estimated at $3,000. The city will look into whether the driver has insurance and will cover the cost.
