HERITAGE UNIVERSITY NEWS RELEASE -- Today Heritage University announced the opening of the application period for the “President’s Scholarship for Outstanding Graduate Students.” Scholarship recipients can receive up to $20,000 toward the pursuit of a graduate degree.
The President’s Scholarship is available to new full-time candidates pursuing one of four degrees at Heritage University: 1) Master in Teaching (M.I.T.); 2) Master of Education (M. Ed.) in Organizational Leadership, including specializations; 3) Master of Education (M. Ed.) in Educational Administration; and 4) Master of Arts (M.A.) in English.
”Graduate school is a tremendous opportunity for those looking to expand their professional options,” says Magnus Altmayer, the assistant director of the Office of Admissions at Heritage University. “By applying for this scholarship, our most qualified and deserving students can take the next step on their educational journey.”
The deadline to apply for the President’s Scholarship is 11:59 p.m. on June 15, 2014. Scholarships are awarded based on academic achievement, a personal statement, letter of recommendation, and demonstrated financial need.
Only students enrolling for the first time in one of the specified Heritage University graduate programs are eligible. Students who have earned an associate or bachelor’s degree at Heritage University are eligible only if they meet all other eligibility requirements.
