NWS FORECAST -- A strong cold front will move across the region Sunday afternoon and evening. This will bring a 15 to 20 degree drop in temperatures for early next week.
Highs Monday through Wednesday will be in the 40s and 50s with some 30s in the mountains. Lows will be in the teens and 20s.
The coldest day will be Tuesday with a widespread hard freeze expected Tuesday morning.
The front will also result in gusty North to Northeast winds Sunday night into Monday with some blowing dust possible.
A few snow showers will also be possible across the mountains of Eastern Oregon Sunday night and early Monday.
