Former city administrator will pay for destroying official documents

YAKIMA COUNTY, Wash. -- A former Selah administrator will have to pay for destroying city records. A Yakima County Superior Court judge ordered Frank Sweet to pay more than $65,000 in restitution.

Sweet was convicted in January of destroying official documents right before he left office in 2012, making it difficult for anyone to get back on track. He'll make monthly payments of $750.
