Fire sends Terrace Heights family into new year without a home

TERRACE HEIGHTS -- Three people need a new place to live heading into the New Year after a fire burned through their home in Terrace Heights.
Firefighters responded shortly after two this afternoon to the house on Keys Road near Terrace Heights Drive. Everyone got out safely.
Investigators say it started in the kitchen and spread to the dining room. The force of the fire blew out the windows in both rooms.
There is extensive heat and smoke damage throughout. Firefighters don't know how it started.
