Fire rips through Terrace Heights home
YAKIMA, Wash. -- Investigators are trying to find out what started the fire that destroyed a Terrace Heights home this evening.

The fire broke out just before seven o'clock on 34th street. No one was home at the time.

Firefighters tell KIMA the flames ignited some ammunition inside the home.

"Sounded like gunshots going off. Like, pow, pow, pow," said neighbor James Reno. "Look over and we see smoke coming from the house. Next thing you know, these ladies are saying call 911."

Rescue crews were able to save a dog who was tied to his leash. No injuries were reported.
