A Friday afternoon fire at a Yakima dentist's office damaged an exterior wall. Firefighters are calling the fire suspicious.
YAKIMA, Wash. -- Yakima police say a child intentionally set a fire outside a dentist's office Friday afternoon.

The fire was reported in the 300 block of South 12th Avenue just after 12:45 p.m. Authorities say the fire started in the grass outside the building and damaged an exterior wall.

A bystander detained the child suspected of starting the fire. When police arrived, they booked the suspect for first-degree arson.

Only one person was inside the office at the time of the fire. No one was injured.
