Final phase of power line construction in E. Yakima

YAKIMA, Wash. -- An electricity project begins its final phase this week in Yakima. Pacific Power has spent two years rebuilding an existing transmission line.

The company says there shouldn't be any traffic problems during the work. It will start at the substation near West Viola and Voelker Avenues.

Customers will be notified two days in advance about power outages. Work should wrap up in April.
