FIRE SEASON: Flames come dangerously close to homes

YAKIMA, Wash. -- Firefighters quickly put out a a brush fire Friday afternoon in Terrace Heights. The fire burned across a field along east Hillcrest Drive.

It burned a few acres. No homes were damaged.

Firefighters say they responded to a fire in the same area earlier this week and found fireworks there.

They think this latest fire may have been a flareup from the earlier fire.
