YAKIMA, Wash. -- Two power outages hit Yakima Thursday afternoon. More than 2,400 people lost power.

Pacific Power said the first was caused by wind or rain snapping a power line. Crews fixed that in a few minutes.

A pole fire caused the second outage. It interrupted service between South Sixth Street and South 18th Street near Nob Hill Boulevard, Simpson Lane and Central Avenue.

All power was restored just before 4 p.m.
