Coroner change could help Yakima's grieving families
YAKIMA COUNTY, Wash. -- A simple move by the Yakima County coroner could make the grieving process a little smoother for families.

The coroner and his staff moved into a state of the art building about a year ago.

The facility is double the size of the old building.

There's a lot more room to process bodies, which speeds up the examination process.

It means releasing bodies back to their families several days faster than they used to.

The coroner can now process up to 20 bodies at a time.

It used to be just three at a time.
