Convicted armed robber sentenced to 38 years in Yakima
YAKIMA -- A man convicted for a pair of armed robberies will spend almost 40 years in prison.
Joe Mata held someone up at gunpoint in a Fred Meyer parking lot a couple of years ago.
He also robbed a water delivery man.
Mata received a tougher punishment because he got out of prison just before committing these crimes.
