NWS FORECAST -- A low pressure system over Alaska will move into the Pacific Northwest by Friday, bringing with it colder temperatures and lowering snow levels.

Snow levels are expected to drop to around 1500-2000 feet over the weekend, with most mountain locations receiving significant snowfall, and some lower elevation locations receiving their first snow of the season.
