UNION GAP, Wash. -- The city of Union Gap issued a trespass order against mayor Jim Lemon, according to city administrator Chris Jensen.
Jensen said the city and police served the no trespass order Friday morning. Lemon was ordered to keep away from city hall and public works.
The order stems from a criminal investigation regarding an incident with a city employee on Thursday, Jensen said. It's unclear what that incident was.
Lemon will be stripped of mayoral powers after Thanksgiving as part of Union Gap's move to a strong city manager form of government.
