He gets creative in the kitchen, thinking up new recipes and new ideas. Student favorites are making their way from the cafeteria kitchen to the home. A new website features school cafeteria recipes.
It wasn't hard to find a mom in Grandview who loved the school recipes. In fact, one mom says she was trying to cook the school dishes before there was even a website.
Like many parents, Vita Garza has kids with selective taste.
"She's a really picky eater, but she'll eat that," says VIta.
She plans to log on, click and cook whatever she can from the site. Something Chef Barth hopes others will do too.
"I've heard feedback from a few different families that have tried it on the website, and they seem pretty excited about it," says Barth.
The school also includes nutritional facts on the website. Keeping students healthy, Chef Barth busy, and giving parents peace of mind.
The school plans to add more recipes as the new website grows. Click here to view the current recipes.
