Burglars open fire on off-duty firefighter in Tieton

TIETON, Wash. -- An off-duty firefighter is lucky he wasn't shot after he walked in on a couple burglars who then opened fire.
Deputies said the two men were trying to rip off a property on the 200 block of Potter Road in Tieton.
The firefighter actually lives next door, and it was his brother's home that was targeted.
No one was shot, but the thieves managed to make a clean getaway.
