NWS FORECAST -- Forecasters are predicting a mostly dry but breezy Halloween forecast, but the weekend is what you really need to know about.
Temperatures are expected to drop into the upper 50s by 6 p.m. and down into the low 40s by 9 p.m. Winds are expected between 5-10mph with gusts a bit stronger.
A strong winter storm is expected to spread precipitation east of the Cascades Saturday, with showers continuing through the weekend.
Snow levels could drop down to 2500 feet Saturday night and Sunday, with possible significant snow accumulations.
Winds associated with a cold front are expected to be between 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph on Saturday and Saturday night for the Columbia Basin and North Central Oregon.
