At least 10 layoffs coming to Yakima Regional Medical Center
YAKIMA, Wash. -- At least ten Yakima Regional Medical Center employees will soon be looking for a job.
The cuts are coming from the business department as part of a reorganization.
Some workers will be relocated to Arkansas to consolidate and cut costs.
Hospital administrators did not want to comment before speaking with employees and the union.
HMA is all about saving a dime and over charging their patients. It does not matter how sick you are or if you are dying. No sympathy, Where's the $. If you cant pay, you cant stay. Does not care about long time employees that have devoted 20+ yrs to the company. Jobs were promised and then taken away.   I have great insurance and can afford to pay my portion up front but I will never use this facility because they have no compassion for the patients that are less fortunate. Even the patients that qualify for charity are getting taken advantage of until the state of Washington steps in.Â
The Easter Bunny is more real than any Obamacare fix.
Aren't the Unions and the implementation of Obamacare going to fix this?  Why yes, it will. You just got to hang on people...Barack promised us...you just got to BELIEVE....
